Is your district looking for ways to make mathematics relevant for students? Take a look at Learning List’s reviews of NS4ed’s Pathway2Careers.
NS4ed’s Pathway2Careers is an online mathematics and CTE program intended to support mathematics instruction for grade 8, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II mathematics courses. The material focuses on helping students find a purpose in learning mathematics skills and concepts by helping them make connections between mathematics content and real-world careers.
The material is designed to support teacher-led instruction or independent student learning. In addition to the online program, the student and teacher materials are available as downloadable PDF documents. Teachers are able to assign lessons to students, review student work, provide feedback, and see student scores on each assignment from within the platform.
Assessments are provided for beginning, middle, and end of year. The material addresses multiple levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy and DOK.
