Does your district need a digital program to supplement core instruction? Take a look at Learning List’s reviews of Edmentum’s Study Island.
Edmentum’s Study Island is a digital, supplemental program designed to support student learning in the four core subjects for students in grades K-12. Learning List recently published reviews of the content for grade 8 social studies and grade 7 and 8 ELA; reviews of Study Island content for other subjects and grade levels were published previously.
The purpose of the program is to support student learning of state standards. The material provides general lessons and practice on key content and allows teachers to customize the content and assessments to meet the needs of individual students. Edmentum Sensei and the teacher dashboard provide numerous tools to help teachers monitor student progress and customize instruction. Students can monitor their own progress through reports on the student dashboard.
