About Khan Academy

Kahn Academy provides free adaptive, online mathematics resources designed to support students in grades K-12. Instruction is presented in grade-level "Missions" organized according to the domains of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

Students begin each Mission by completing a diagnostic Mission Warm-up, which assesses their understanding of the concepts and skills within the domain. Based on the results, Khan Academy creates a personalized learning pathway that targets each student's learning needs while supporting progress toward grade-level expectations.

Instruction includes:

• Short instructional videos (5–20 minutes) that teach specific math concepts and skills.

• Embedded practice activities that allow students to immediately apply what they have learned.
