Children’s Literacy Initiative’s Blueprint for Early Learning is a comprehensive program for prekindergarten that helps teacher plan engaging, intentional, responsive instruction. The product is comprised of digital teacher and classroom materials, most of which are printable in PDF format.
The program supports connections to the real-world through theme-based unit projects and provides a “spotlight” on social and emotional learning in each unit. Adaptions for special populations are limited and primarily consist of general instructional suggestions. Materials are provided in English only.
Resources for teachers include detailed daily lesson plans with a heavily scripted instructional narrative and numerous additional supports in the form of instructional suggestions and detailed explanations of activities.
Student resources include digital and printable materials, but the program does not include manipulatives, center materials, or consumable supplies.
